Netflix releases new trailer for upcoming spin-off series “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” Entitled “The Further Unfortunate Adventures of Cliff Booth.” The film will take viewers back to 1977 – eight years after the events of the original film – to follow the new brutal adventures and unusual “commands” of former Hollywood stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt has returned). The trailer also touches on one of the most controversial moments from the first film – the fight scene with Bruce Lee.
The project is directed by David Fincher. The script was written by Quentin Tarantino himself, who decided not to direct so as not to violate his self-imposed rule of ten feature films.
In addition to Brad Pitt, the film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen and other actors. The film will be released exclusively in IMAX theaters for two weeks on November 25, 2026, before being released on Netflix on December 23.
