Leto says his advice for new Halo is A project not designed to please all fans. Instead, he thinks his idea for a “darker” and “more realistic” Halo game won’t be popular with many people.

Lehto went on to say that Halo has a bright future if management gets it right, but he believes that’s all just wishful thinking given the new leadership at Xbox now in place. “I know this is an unrealistic idea I highly doubt Asha cares,” he said.
Lehto further suggested, A new chapter in Halo “It needs to be co-developed by local teams, not outsourced to teams around the world who have zero interest in doing big things.”
In another post, Lehto added that he envisions a future where multiple teams work on developing specific components of the game that they feel “owned” by. However, Lehto reiterated that “core games and core experiences have to come” From a focused and cohesive team, no exceptions”.
