The Intel Arc Pro B70 series of graphics card solutions debuted in March this year, and they are considered fairly new by the manufacturer’s standards. However, during times of memory shortages, retail prices rose quite rapidly. If the price of the new product when it was launched in the spring was $949, which until recently was in the $1,000 range, now the price has increased by 26% to 46%.

At least that’s what the source recently reported Tom’s Hardcorewho reviewed the Intel Arc Pro B70 online. In the United States, the graphics card is most affordable, with prices rising from $999 to $1,299 compared to last month. Furthermore, in the standard version from Intel itself, this graphics card is now available in the United States for $1,779.
In Europe, the Intel Arc Pro B70 was selling for an average of €1,200 before the recent price increase, and has now increased to €1,500. The results show that the increase is slightly lower than that of the US retail industry (26% vs. 30%), but the initial price of the item is higher. In South Korea, we managed to record the most significant price increase for the Intel Arc Pro B70. If the graphics card is still selling for $1,334 in the second half of July, the price will rise 46% to $1,975 by mid-August. What’s strange about this situation is that Intel itself advises partners in local markets to offer the card for $1,988 – meaning the actual price level at local retail is even lower.
It is worth mentioning that the graphics card of this model is equipped with 32 GB GDDR6 video memory with error correction capabilities, which is very useful when computing as part of a workstation. Since such GPUs can be used to accelerate artificial intelligence, higher retail prices are likely to spur demand for them, especially given the record-breaking rise in memory prices.
