Terraria 1.4.5.7 is released on PC and becomes the last patch to update Bigger and Boulder unless developers desperately need to fix critical bugs. This time, the team focused primarily on balancing and redesigning existing projects.

The scope of this patch differs significantly from previous fixes. The developers changed many of the project’s features and functionality and added some completely new things, while fixing accumulated bugs. That’s why they decided to release the update as separate material, rather than including it in the regular series of Bigger and Boulder patches.
Initially, Re-Logic plans to release the version on PC, consoles, and mobile devices simultaneously. However, since Gamescom is approaching, the team decided not to delay the PC version and immediately sent the console and mobile versions for certification. If the process goes well, the new version will appear soon after completing the necessary procedures.
The next big step should be the long-awaited first phase of cross-platform play – update 1.4.6. The developers promise to tell you more about this in the near future. Additionally, the Re-Logic and DR Studios teams will meet at Gamescom to plan Terraria’s continued development and future updates. It looks like Big & Boulder is really coming to an end and the game has begun a new chapter.
