Developers Running With Scissors and Impact Reality announce ScissorRun release date Postal 2 Ultimate Editiona new modern and improved version of the time-honored shooter. The game will arrive Spring 2027 PS4, PS5 (PS VR2 supported), PC (via Steam-compatible VR headsets), and Meta Quest.
The developer also confirmed that More versions of the game are plannedlikely for Nintendo and Xbox platforms, will be released later. The announcement also comes with a series of new images, which can be viewed in the gallery below.

Postal 2 Redux Yes reinventionby rebuilding from scratch unity 6. The team retained the original sandbox structure and chaotic spirit, but updated every system to fit modern standards. The project, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter, is the result of a collaboration between Impact Reality, Flat2VR Studios, Team Beef, and some of the historic members of Running With Scissors, and is being developed openly with the community.
Remastered version introduced Overall graphic redesignfeaturing crisper textures, improved lighting and shaders, and a new streaming system that makes city exploration smoother. The sandbox is now more responsive, with NPCs reacting better to player actions and gaining combat advantages from heavier, more believable physics. POSTAL Dude’s dog Champ also returns with more interactivity.
