Instructions for the upcoming GeForce 615.xx series NVIDIA driver package have prematurely leaked online, confirming that the updated DLSS 4.5 ray reconstruction technology is about to be released. Judging from the leaked data, the new driver will obtain Game Ready status for the “Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy” and “Hell Unleashed: Vietnam” projects, and will also bring the second-generation light reconstruction algorithm.

The main innovation in DLSS 4.5 ray reconstruction will be the transition to second-generation deformable models. The updated AI denoiser is trained on an expanded data set, using 20% more parameters and 35% more processing power, while maintaining the same performance. Compared to previous versions, the developers promise sharper particle effects, reduced ghosting (trails behind objects), elimination of dynamic artifacts, and improved temporal stability. The technology will be available on all GeForce RTX graphics cards from the RTX 20 series to the latest RTX 50, and at launch, at least 27 games will support the feature through integration or forced configuration files in NVIDIA applications.
