Studio Elementa Games has unveiled a massive plan to improve its action role-playing game Silver Palace. Based on community feedback received during the recent closed beta, the developers have identified four key areas for improvement before the next phase of closed beta: combat system, narrative, open world, and technical optimization.
The combat system will undergo major revisions, and its readability has caused many questions among testers. In particular, the author plans to reconfigure the behavior of the camera and the logic of target acquisition, making it easier for players to control the battlefield when fighting large groups and against fast-flying opponents. We will pay special attention to effects: animations, visual effects and enemy reactions to hits will become more expressive. In addition, the combat interface will become more intuitive so that users can easily track the active buffs of support characters and the current status of reactors.
Equally important changes also affect the presentation of the investigation and plot. One of the most anticipated innovations is the emergence of a complete dialogue history, which allows you to reread NPC lines at any time without missing important clues. The studio promises to make more active use of specific detective gadgets, such as flashlights for finding evidence, directly as part of the main story campaign. The curious deduction investigation mode with multiple endings will be further developed and feature new scenarios. Additionally, the developers plan to improve the camera controls and sounds for the invisible portions.
They promise to make Silvernia’s open world deeper and more interactive by increasing the number of locations available to visit. The behavior and appearance of non-player characters will be adjusted to make them better reflect their profession and remove the feeling of artificial scenery on the streets. The team will continue to refine the controls for the Pegasus ride and improve navigation on the map. In a major announcement, Elementa Games has officially confirmed that Silver Palace will finally get a mobile client in the next phase of testing, although the exact timing of the new CBT has not yet been revealed.
