Sources report that on the eve of Sony’s Xperia series new product launch, an image of the Sony Xperia 10 VIII smartphone was leaked online. Android headlines. After announcing the event scheduled for August 25, the Japanese company has yet to confirm that it will show off the Xperia 10 VIII, but Android Headlines sources believe it’s a completely obvious fact.

In the leaked photos, only the rear panel of the device is visible. Judging from the photos, the new product looks almost the same as its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VII. The back panel is flat, with a horizontal bar at the top housing the two cameras and the Sony logo. There’s also an LED flash, just like the Xperia 10 VII.
As Android Headlines suggests, the front panel of the smartphone will also be the same as its predecessor. That said, we won’t see a camera cutout or hole in the display, and the top and bottom frames will be slightly wider than the side ones.
The photo also shows that there are volume buttons on the right side of the case, and just below that is the power/lock button that also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. It’s possible that, like its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VIII has a physical camera shutter button, but that part of the body is obscured by a woman’s hand. Therefore, there is currently no way to confirm or disprove this.
The Sony Xperia 10 VIII recently appeared on Geekbench. The single-core test scored 871 points and the multi-core test scored 3028 points. Test results indicate that like its predecessor, the smartphone will be powered by 8 GB RAM and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.
