You won’t be able to enjoy the upcoming game at 60 fps in any graphics mode. This news has now been officially confirmed.
It is reported that Rebel Wolves is developing the upcoming Blood of the Dawn Treader, which will make a splash on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S starting September 3, 2026. However, anyone looking for a smoother high frame rate gaming experience will be disappointed.
The official YouTube channel has now released a new video explaining the game’s technical modes on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The 60 fps target often set in performance mode was not achieved under any circumstances. There are two modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Quality and Balanced, but the highest feeling is still 40 fps.
You can also expect Dynamic 4K at 30 fps in Quality mode, and Dynamic 4K at 40 fps in Balanced mode. Details on implementation on Xbox Series S have yet to be revealed.
Interestingly, the graphics modes on PS5 Pro remain unchanged. There’s also dynamic 4K here with quality and balance at 30 fps or 40 fps. Regardless of which mode you choose, the more powerful Sony console comes with stunning “improved visual quality,” but no further details were revealed.
