HoYoverse has released a Genshin Impact animated video titled “Embers Under the Ice” that focuses on the backstory of Fatui’s Harbinger, specifically Signora’s tragic fate.
The animated film presented reveals previously unknown details of relationships within the organization. Special attention is paid to Signora’s past: it is revealed that, after successfully retrieving the Heart of God, she plans to attend Odette’s performance at Snezhnaya. However, her death in Lightning put an end to these plans, leaving her last words frozen.
The most unexpected moment was the discussion of the mysterious flame of creation. The film makes it clear that this special flame has the ability to burn away Fatui’s memory, potentially returning Fatui to her original state before serving the Queen.
