Tencent Games will hold its largest gaming exhibition in history at Gamescom 2026. Visitors to Cologne Messe will be able to try out new and known projects, as well as participate in stage events and receive themed souvenirs.
The public part of the exhibition will take place from August 26 to 28 in Hall 8.1 of the Koelnmesse. Tencent gaming booths are located at Nos. A-051 and B-050. The company will also be the largest participant in the commercial segment of Gamescom in Hall 4.2, where new projects and developments will be presented to a trade audience.
One of the new products launched will be an autonomous fighter jet Glory of Kings: ACE From TiMi Studio Group. For the first time, the game will be available for guests to try on PC and mobile devices. In addition, the multiplayer action role-playing game “Honor of Kings: World” will also return to the exhibition with a new trial version. Players can also try out the mobile MOBA Honor of Kings, participate in tournaments and stage competitions, meet role players and earn themed merchandise.
Tencent Games’ other projects include LilliLandia Games’ Animula Nook. It’s a simulator of life in a small community, where everyday objects are transformed into elements of a fantasy world. A special demo version of the game will be on display at the booth, and visitors will be able to take photos with the characters using a special camera. The project also prepares musical activities for small team games.
Rust Mobile, a survival simulator created by Tencent Games and officially licensed by Facepunch Studios, will also be unveiled at Gamescom. The booth will host activities featuring role players, and visitors will be able to compete for themed prizes. From August 24th to 30th, gamescom camp ticket holders will be able to visit the Rust Mobile themed area at the Jugendpark in Cologne.
During the exhibition, three rickshaws decorated in Rust Mobile style will drive along the streets of Cologne. Participants in the photo contest who spot a vehicle and qualify for the promotion will have the chance to win a gift card worth €200.
In addition to games, Tencent Games will also bring its technology to Gamescom. Tencent Game Central Technology made its debut at the exhibition, bringing together multiple technology areas within the company, including Motus AI, GIGA, Tencent Game Vox, MagicDawn, Anti-Cheat Expert, GVoice and WeTest.
The developers will hold four technical presentations. Topics will include using generative AI for character animation, autonomous AI agents for shooters, global coverage of cross-platform open world games, and automated testing of complex game projects. Tencent will also launch LAP, LightSpeed Studios’ in-house platform that uses AI to generate game assets. Limited beta testing of the platform is scheduled to begin in September.
Gamescom 2026 will host an opening night live show on August 25, followed by a public portion that will continue until August 28.
