Soulmask developers summarize the first two months of the 90-day update schedule and talk about further changes. In August, the team is focused on making it easier to manage large tribes and making the interface clearer.
During June and July, the game improved the functionality of portals between Sands and Misty Forest, construction using resources from inventory and storage, and animations for attacking, jumping, dodging, and being hit. The developers have also adjusted boss behavior and begun making the HUD more user-friendly. Now it’s the main menu’s turn: instead of many separate sections using the TAB key, there will be a two-level category system, and the ESC screen will become noticeably cleaner.

Pay special attention to managing fellow tribe members. The new assignment matrix will allow you to view all residents and their specialties simultaneously, quickly find the right candidates and set task priorities. The training ground will also have the opportunity to train tribe members on new weapons through the mentor and student system. Finally, the character will gain the genetic regeneration ability – which fully restores health when seriously injured or suspended animation, but has a 60-second cooldown and does not work in military mode.
However, the developers have reserved the most interesting things for now. Deep within the Sands, players will discover new areas, new masks, the mysteries of the floating world, and secrets related to the true nature of the Sun God. Judging from hints from the team, it’s clear she doesn’t plan to reveal everything all at once.
