Ahead of the main event at Gamescom, which will actually kick off the show, there’s a small event called Pixel Arcadia Showcase 2026. It showcased some new Xbox games, and previously announced projects also received new details. A total of 6 games are coming to Xbox at this show, and here are the new trailers and details revealed by the developers.
Terrain — 2027
The 1995 classic action RPG is returning to modern platforms for the first time in over 30 years. The project combines exploration, JRPG elements and dynamic real-time combat including spearing, jumping and dashing.
Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection – September 24, 2026
The new “Alien Breed” series was released to commemorate the series’ 35th anniversary. It will include 6 games, as well as various additional materials and new modes. We discussed it in more detail here.
Nursing Home Enhanced — December 2026
An updated version of the cult psychological horror game Sanitarium, first released on PC in 1998. The enhanced version will receive support for game controllers, wide screen mode, a tooltip system, old bug fixes, quality improvements and some additional materials.
Ninja Baseball League – Men: On Base – December 10, 2026
A 1990s arcade fighting game where baseball players combine athletic action with martial arts skills. The updated version will receive HD graphics, new characters, additional modes, levels and music, as well as a 4-player co-op mode.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Balls of Destruction — 2026год
A new game based on Masters of the Universe, a 2D arcade fighting game with fast combat. You play as one of 4 heroes – He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Teela and She-Ra, each with their own set of moves. The campaign consists of 12 levels that you can complete alone or together in local co-op.
Carrier Command 2 – No release date
Carrier Command 2 is a strategy simulator where players take control of a futuristic aircraft carrier in an island chain war. You must gather intelligence, plan attacks, seize territory and manage resources, then take control of aircraft, drones and landing vehicles yourself. Carrier Command 2 was originally released on PC in 2021 and is now preparing a console version.
