NetEase Games and Naked Rain announced that “ANANTA” will be released globally on January 15, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Steam PC, the game’s official PC client, and mobile devices.
The release date was revealed in a new story trailer, which also introduces Ananta’s second city, Chongxiao. Chongxiao joins Nova City as one of the game’s main urban locations, both inspired by real-life metropolises including Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo.
AANTA attaches great importance to social media as part of its development. Players take on the role of thought leaders and build their careers and reputations by completing missions, responding to events, and participating in events across the city.
Exploration of the game world covers many locations, including a movie theater, mahjong parlor, arcade, cat cafe, gym, restaurant, clothing store, and outdoor hot springs. Players will be able to travel by car, motorcycle, helicopter, yacht, subway, hang glider, and other types of transportation.
