Multiplayer shooter PUBG with roguelike elements: DED.NET announced

At the opening ceremony of Gamescom 2026, PUBG Madison Studio released a new multiplayer shooting game “PUBG: DED.NET”. The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but a release date has not yet been revealed.

PUBG: DED.NET combines dynamic shooting with Roguelike mechanics. Each new run should be a continuation of the previous run. Death does not mean the loss of progress. The events will unfold in Cascadia in the 1990s. The developers describe the world as a dark and unpredictable place, a blend of grunge aesthetics, horrific mutations, and the supernatural. Players must explore the environment, fight opponents, and adapt to changing conditions.

The basis for progress will be the competition system. Each attempt will bring new discoveries to the player, which will influence the further development of the character and the combat options available. Therefore, a lost game is not considered a final defeat. The experience gained and opportunities discovered should transform subsequent attempts, and death in the game will actually become part of the progression.
