Today, the console version of “Once Human” is released simultaneously in North America, South America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The project launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S, with full cross-play with the PC and mobile versions.
Regardless of platform, players can add each other as friends, create groups, and play games together. No subscription to PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core is required to access multiplayer games. The consoles are available in Russian, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese. Preloading begins 48 hours before launch, and the client size is approximately 80 GB on PlayStation and 100 GB on Xbox.
The developers also confirmed that progress can be transferred between platforms after linking accounts. Cosmetics and other assets of an account in a region are generally synchronized, but a PSN or Xbox account can only be associated with one game account. However, the roles in the test server have not been completely transferred. Players can look forward to PvE and PvP scenarios, building, open world exploration, dungeons, and seasonal content. The console version also features keyboard and mouse support, control remapping, HDR, quality and performance modes, and adjustable controller vibration intensity.
