As part of the game’s 8th anniversary celebration, Smilegate has announced new content for the Seventh Epic Gacha. Starting on August 27th, players will be able to receive a free skin for the ML version of Moon and participate in the anniversary event, with a collaboration with Chaos Zero Nightmare planned for September.
The demo also revealed Paradise Lost, a new spin-off series set in World 1, the earliest world in the Epic Seven universe. As part of the update, new heroes Lisette and Politis will appear in the Uncharted Vanguard version.
Lisette is the alter ego of the goddess Dish. She will become a light elemental healer, specializing in the resurrection and restoration of allies. New Politis is depicted during her first appearance in Orbis, and the game’s mechanics alter her character based on her location. The new acolyte of doom, Karen, will also play an important role in Paradise Lost, and Kaine will appear as a playable NPC.
Another great addition is Dimension Exploration, the first official roguelike mode from the Epic Seven team. Players will form a team of three heroes and travel through battle, trade, event and supply nodes to collect effects, relics and recruitment tickets. The PvP component will also expand with Call of Chaos, a new 3v3 World Arena mode with shorter hero select and ban phases.
Background combat also significantly improves quality of life. Combat continues even after the game is closed, and auto-sell and auto-retrieve options have also been added.
The Epic Seven x Chaos Zero Nightmare collaboration will launch in September and will include Lenoa, Haru, and Merlin. Lenoa will be obtained for free during the event, while Haru and Misuzu will be obtained through limited summons.
Epic 7th Anniversary rewards will begin rolling out on August 27th. Players who log in to the game will be able to receive the voting-winning Crescent Luna: Majestic Bunny Skin for free. The 8th anniversary celebration will also include 1,260 free summons for 63 days, 20 times per day. Other event rewards include hero and artifact selectors, summon tickets, commemorative items, and upgrade materials.
The preliminaries of the 2026 Epic Seven World Championship will begin on September 12, and the final is scheduled to be held on November 28.
