Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy will give players an insight into the Empire and introduce them to the three Grand Inquisitions of the Inquisition. Each of them is waging their own war, but all are ready to cross any line for the sake of humanity’s survival.

The Inquisition is considered one of the most secretive and dangerous units within the Inquisition. His primary targets are demonic and chaotic forces capable of destroying not just bodies, but reality itself. Inquisitors operate in small groups, surrounded by hand-picked assistants and agents. In the most dangerous situations, they can turn to the Gray Knights, a secret order of Space Marines created specifically to destroy daemon threats. Some Inquisitors mark their bodies with ritual symbols to commemorate defeated enemies. During the game, players will meet Ahmadiz, whose investigations will be directly related to important tasks and events.

The Ordo Xenos deal with another threat: aliens. Its agents hunt alien races within the realms of the Empire and the human world, where the xenos’ influence may go undetected for years. Inquisitors are able to study their enemies for extended periods of time before attacking, and fight within the Death Guard against the most dangerous foes they bring to the table. The Ordo Xenos will be represented by Millicentilia, a High Inquisitor for whom the fight against outsiders does not allow for compromise.

The Ordo Hereticus turned its attention to humanity itself. His enemies include heretics, witches, apostates, rebels, and secret cults who threaten to undermine the foundations of the Empire. In the game, players will meet Inquisitor Leander de Talal, who will join the heroes on a special mission. The decisions she makes can lead her to make multiple choices for how events unfold. Aldor also works closely with the Sisters of Battle, who have fought against the enemies of the Emperor for hundreds of years.
In Dark Heresy, all three Ordos will be part of the player’s journey through the dark corners of the empire. Their representatives use completely different methods, but are equally confident about one thing: any manifestation of a threat must be destroyed before it causes disaster. This is why the decisions of the Inquisition could decide not the fate of an individual, but the fate of the entire world.
