During the Gamescom opening night live ceremony, Saber Interactive and Universal Products & Experiences showed off a new story trailer for the massive sci-fi shooter Turok: Origins, scheduled for release in spring 2027.
The game is a modern retelling of the 1997 series. Players will take on the role of defenders of the mysterious Knights of Turok and travel to the dangerous Lost Lands to save humanity from the threats of ferocious dinosaurs and the mysterious alien race Xenia.
Turok: Origins will offer single-player and co-op modes with friends. Gameplay combines first- and third-person shooting, use a vast arsenal of weapons (from plasma rifles and bows to experimental alien technology), and collect “Echos” to customize your character’s unique abilities. The project is already available on major platforms to add to your wish list.
Oh yes. The game’s release has been delayed until spring 2027.
