Publisher Perfect World announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. The global revenue of the urban role-playing game “NTE: From Forever to Forever” exceeded 2 billion yuan.
The game was launched at the end of April, and the international version set sales records on its first day, surpassing the domestic market. As of the end of June, the total collection exceeded the 1.4 billion yuan mark, and as of August 18 it had reached 298 million US dollars. About 60% of the revenue is provided by the author’s own platform, including the official website and PC client, while the release of Steam and Epic Games Store was only in July.
Despite strong sales, the company itself still lost 118 million yuan in the first half. The financial gap can be explained by accounting features: huge marketing costs are written off immediately, while revenue from players gradually increases.
