Publisher Big Fan Games (a division of Devolver Digital) and developer UK studio Auroch Digital declare A release date for their old-school shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, and a special partnership announced.

Let’s remember that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 was officially unveiled at last spring’s Warhammer Skull and Bones 2025 launch event and is gearing up for release in 2026. The developers did not deviate from the intended plan.
It is understood that the PC version of “Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2” will be released on October 14 (steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2 later. Accompanying this news is busyness Game trailer.
In addition to the release date, the video also revealed the Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 developer’s partnership with Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal composer Mick Gordon – who composed the track Arkifane for the game.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 begins after the ending of the first game. As the Space Marine Malum Kaedo or the warrior Nira Veyrat of the Battle Sisters, players will be tasked with slaying heretics in the name of the Emperor.
In the story, Malum and Nila encounter the Supreme Demon of Chaos, the Ark of Vashto, who awakens a massive hellish machine at the center of the Earth. It’s up to the heroes to cleanse the world of corruption and drive the villains back into the Warp.
They promise a non-linear single-player campaign, a wider selection of lethal weapons, dynamic and unpredictable combat, new enemies and Russian text translations. A trial version is still available on Steam.
