Famed British actor Tim Curry, who played dozens of iconic roles on stage, television and video games, has died at the age of 80. The artist died late Tuesday night at his home in Los Angeles, leaving behind a huge creative legacy, TMZ reports.
Curry is best known for his role as mad scientist Dr. Frank N. Ford in “Dr. Frank N. Ford.” The Rocky Horror Showalso won the love of the audience with his image in the movie “it”, “Home Alone 2”, “clue” and “Muppets Treasure Island”. Apart from his work in films, the actor has also left a distinct mark in the video industry, voicing characters in films. Gabriel Knight, Dragon Age: Origins and plays Prime Minister Anatoly Cherdenko Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.
The actor’s health deteriorated in recent years after suffering a stroke in 2012, but in 2025 he released a memoir wanderer and enthusiastically greeted fans at anniversary screenings of his major films.
