Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the hit manga One Piece, has announced a new time frame for the finale of his ambitious creation: according to the latest data, the story will drag on for at least another four years, targeting early 2030. As fans prepare for the final plot, the series continues to take over the media space – with plans to include at least a 17th feature film bad (released in 2029) and an ambitious remake One Piece From Netflix, starting January 2027.
The manga artist himself added fuel to the fire, creating a real frenzy among fans: Oda revealed that the true meaning of One Piece’s treasure was buried in a secret location more than 600 meters deep under the sea. Enthusiasts quickly found the location – it turned out to be Suruga Bay in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, but no one has successfully salvaged this artifact so far. It looks like Luffy will discover this secret faster than even the most experienced true adventurers.
