Forza Horizon 6 developers have revealed the next major event for Horizon Festival. Drift Attack will launch on September 7th and will challenge players not with lap time but with the number of points earned by drifting.
The new activity will be part of the entire open game area and will not require loading screens. To participate, simply come to Island Mountain Speedway and drive through a special arch. Drifting awards points, and special clipping areas offer additional bonuses. There is no limit to the number of laps, and you can continue racing as long as you are willing to improve your performance.

Drift Attack will have its own solo and fleet leaderboards, and will also be featured in the Horizon Festival event. Once you complete the mission, you’ll be able to unlock a unique Forza Edition – a 1990 Jaguar XJ-S tuned specifically for drifting. The regular version of the car will also be unveiled at the auto show. To participate in the event, you need to obtain the yellow bracelet during the festival.
