At Gamescom 2026, the developer of the action-adventure game “Where the Winds Meet” shared the latest details about the upcoming large-scale expansion pack “Hidden Mountain Chapter 2”, with the main keyword being the concept of “connection”.
The add-on will provide players with content on a scale comparable to the Kaifeng region and will move exploration from a two-dimensional plane to a full three-dimensional dimension, with the ability to conquer mountains, skies, and underground locations.
The plot and mechanics of this add-on are based on the ancient Mohist philosophy of “technology serving people.” Players will also experience Drunken Master’s signature martial arts style, created in collaboration with legendary Hong Kong choreographer Yuen Woo-Ping.
The authors note that collaboration with masters includes deep motion capture and studying the realistic biomechanics of fighters, and that the team’s plans for the next six months include new martial arts for sharp weapons.
