
On the first day of Gamescom, the Microsoft team showed off 9 games for Game Pass. The second day is even bigger, with 13 items available for subscription during the broadcast. Deep Dish Dungeon – October 13, 2026
Co-op game featuring dungeon crawlers, puzzles, Metroidvania-like elements, and a crafting system. Players must explore locations, gather resources, create tools, and progress deeper into the dungeon.
Dune: Awakening – September 22
The developers of Dune: Awakening have confirmed a console release date. When the project is released on consoles, it will receive a large DLC cinematic archive and a single-player mode.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (National Championship Flight Competition) – October 13, 2026
The race introduced the National Flying Championship, which would allow for high-speed racing over New Mexico. We’ve also released an update for the Italian region.
Amathus – January 7, 2027
The third-person shooter with roguelike elements has a release date – it will be released early next year. A mysterious detective story that takes place in Ireland in 1897. The protagonist will investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Dean in a remote hotel, where puzzling things happened and many secrets are hidden.
DayZ Wasteland – October 15, 2026
A release date has been set for the game’s major DLC, which should add new desert areas and a ton of content. Previously, the developers shared details about the DLC.
Son of Thanjai (Game Pass Announcement) – Spring 2027
A massive open world adventure game from Indian studio Ayelet Studio. The background of the story is set in South India during the Chola Empire in the 11th century. The main character is Prince Winandiland, who has lost his family and his throne.
Arkhron (Game Pass Announcement) – Spring 2026
A dynamic PvP project from Bonfire Studios, founded by Blizzard veterans. The game itself is built around battles between teams of three players. Participants explore the dark tower, fight monsters, collect relics, and gradually ascend to greater heights to face other teams.
Holstin (Game Pass Announcement) — 2027
A psychological survival horror game from Polish studio Sonka. The story takes place in an isolated town in the 1990s, which is gradually being swallowed up by a mysterious and terrifying force. The protagonist must explore the contaminated area, talk to local residents and fight against manifestations of unknown threats.
What’s Happening (Game Pass Announcement) – 2026
A cooperative brick-and-mortar game where players must build giant towers out of various debris. The main task is to assemble the structure, maintain balance and try to deliver the cargo to the rescue ship before time runs out.
Albion Online: Dragonfire – August 31
The game itself is already available on Xbox with Game Pass rewards. At Gamescom, the developers showed off a trailer for Dragonfire’s major update, which will be released on August 31st. It will add dragons, new territories, open-world activities, and large-scale PvE battles to the game.
Militsioner (Game Pass Announcement) — 2027 hours
A surreal adventure in which players try to escape a mysterious city after being unjustly arrested. At the same time, a burly policeman was watching him all the time. Players need to consider the actions of law enforcement officers and find different ways to gain freedom.
