After showing off the full gameplay of Grand Theft Auto VI, the developers are actively sharing details about the project. Rockstar CEO Rob Nelson said in an interview new york times About the duration of the game. According to him, it will take about 80 hours to complete Grand Theft Auto 6, but this is the average time to complete the story and complete some additional tasks.
Nelson clarified that 80 hours is not considered an exact completion time for all players. The duration will depend heavily on how actively the player explores the world, completes side quests, and participates in various activities.
I want someone willing to get up, get a cup of coffee, take a shower, get dressed, and get out and exercise. Talk to people, explore the world, and maybe get into trouble. Grab a few spots and make some money.
Nelson also said in his response that he was performing “Optional objectives with narrative consequences”. This may mean that some side quests and decisions will impact the story and affect its ending, although they are not required to complete the main campaign. Currently, Rockstar has not revealed whether GTA 6 will have multiple endings.
GTA 6 is scheduled to be released on Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 on November 19, 2026. A PC version has yet to be announced.
