As you know, today, August 27th, Rockstar Games is launching a new in-depth study dedicated to grand theft auto 6The title is “Extend Look” and will be broadcast on the platform Netflix. According to an update on the official event page of the Netflix app, the live broadcast will have Duration 26 minutes. Judging from the runtime, this will not be a simple trailer but a detailed analysis of the game’s world, which is a relevant fact considering that between 2023 and today, the studio has only released two videos and little bits and pieces of information besides leaks.
They are PS5
An update on Netflix’s blog also clarified some technical issues, confirming that the data being displayed was “Completely taken from PlayStation 5 game screen”. The clarification indicates that these sequences are not from the PS5 Pro model, which is consistent with what already happened in the trailer released in May 2025.
This technical choice is consistent with Sony and Rockstar Games sign joint marketing agreementthis partnership also explains the presence of consoles and controllers in the game that are designed very similarly to PlayStation peripherals.
As for the programming, Extend Look will premiere on Netflix in Italy at 9pm and will also be available on YouTube six hours later.
The demo comes after the game went through a complex development phase, marked by the leaks mentioned above. Rockstar has publicly commented on the situation, saying the leak left the development team “heartbroken.”
GTA 6 is still scheduled to release on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, but it will have to deal with Volvy.
