As part of the FGS Live demo at Gamescom, the developer showed off a new gameplay trailer for survival simulator Viking Reigns. The project continues the popular gaming line dynasty and invites players to take on the role of a young Viking who must go from simply surviving in the harsh northern wilderness to becoming a powerful lord leading his people.
Gameplay combines elements of survival, city-building and role-playing. Players must build workshops and forges, supply the needs of settlers, create families to perpetuate a dynasty, and construct ships to explore endless fjords, archipelagos, and underwater caves.
Vikings is scheduled to be released on PC in 2027.
