Tencent Games Central Tech will showcase its development results at Gamescom for the first time as a single technology brand. The company brings together content creation, gameplay, artificial intelligence, project protection and long-term support solutions including Motus, GIGA, MagicDawn, Anti-Cheat Expert, GVoice and WeTest.

The main new product is Motus, an AI platform for creating 3D character animations. The system combines multiple development stages simultaneously: from building skeletons and setting up models to generating motion and interactive animations. Motus can create actions based on text descriptions, videos, or keyframes, and automatically correct errors such as animation jitter, incorrect joint function, and intersecting objects. This technology supports multi-character interaction and can be used to create intelligent NPCs, digital avatars and virtual hosts.

According to Tencent, Motus is already used in games such as PUBG Mobile, Delta Force, Honor of Kings, League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. In addition, the company is developing the GIGA platform, which uses the game world to train AI agents, and the MagicDawn system, which combines cloud computing, AI and rendering technologies to improve performance and image quality. Tencent cited “Rock Kingdom” as an example, which transformed from a web game into a large open world covering an area of ​​64 square kilometers.

Central Tech also includes Anti-Cheat Expert to combat cheating and protect the game economy, GVoice voice system with noise reduction and instant voice translation, and WeTest Acorn AI Studio, where autonomous AI agents can independently test games and find bugs. Tencent noted that all of these solutions are no longer separate experiments, but are being transformed into common tools that developers can use when creating future projects.
