Ark: Survival Ascend brings the story of Astraeos to a successful conclusion, a map covering an area of over 264 square kilometers and inspired by Greek mythology. Players received the expansion Heaven and Abyss, which included new territories, bosses, and dangers.
One of the main novelties is Helianthos, with its mountains, flowering plains and islands floating in the sky. At the other end of the adventure is Abysanthos, a mist-shrouded abyss filled with giant bubbles that hide an underwater city. Here, a base can be built away from the surface.
The ocean will no longer be just a barrier between islands. Dynamic waves and new weather conditions will make sailing more dangerous, while the ancient battleship Trireme will let you fight and navigate rough waters. On land, players will be greeted by the aggressive giant boar Boaratos, while enemies include the Colossus and the ferocious Croaratos.
The final chapter will offer two battles with the Kraken – underwater and above the surface. Victory earns you new Apex rewards, including the Astral Soul, as well as Agamemnon’s Helm, the Triple Battleship Chair, the Spartan Saddle of Boarathos, and the Holy Weapon with Shield.
