In a joint letter released yesterday, they were joined by more than a hundred other companies, including Broadcom, Capital One, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, General Motors, IBM, Mastercard, Oracle, Robinhood, Shopify and Visa. They warn that time is running out to respond to new threats.
«As models around the world become more sophisticated, AI-driven cyberattacks will become more common in the coming months“, the document states. Its authors believe that there is still a chance”making our digital world more secure”, but to do so, countries and businesses need to “leverage the full potential of their technologies, resources and experience».
The companies specifically called on authorities to speed up implementation of the Trusted Access Program, which allows certain companies to gain access to the most powerful artificial intelligence models before they become public. Invite all other organizations”Make cybersecurity a top management priority».
