Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have unexpectedly released a native version of MudRunner for current-generation consoles Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5. Previously, the game could run on consoles thanks to backwards compatibility, now it’s fully optimized. The update is distributed for free using the smart delivery system within the Xbox ecosystem.

In its native version on Xbox Series X and Playstation 5, MudRunner runs at 4K resolution and 60 FPS. Apparently, Xbox Series S players can get a 1080p experience at 60 FPS. However, the developers have not yet specified anywhere the technical status of the game, so it will be necessary to wait for the first tests.
Along with the release of the native version, the developer has also released a new trailer dedicated to MudRunner’s release on ninth-generation consoles.
Let’s remember that MudRunner was originally released in 2017 and became a huge hit, after which the idea was developed into SnowRunner.
