GameSpot has released nearly seven minutes of fresh gameplay for Undead Labs’ zombie action game State of Decay 3, whose demo attracted widespread attention at Gamescom 2026.
The new part of the famous series promises to take survival to the next level: players will have to face evolving zombies, develop a network of interconnected settlements and make difficult decisions, because here the death of community members is forever irreversible.
The project retains the main features of the series and adds a massive cooperative mode for four players in a shared open world to build fortifications, craft explosives and find new allies. The all-out return of the once revered series promises to be one of the main events for fans of hardcore survival simulators.
