At Tokyo Game Show 2026, a major project in the Lollipop Chainsaw universe will be announced, which will be unveiled on a separate stage on September 19, 2026.
The official description of the event is titled “New Lollipop Chainsaw Project” and states that the presentation will include “important announcements of new projects.” It was not specified what kind of project this was.
This wording is particularly noteworthy as new Lollipop Chainsaw games and animation projects have been confirmed. It’s unclear whether the Tokyo Game Show announcement will focus on one of the previously announced projects or other projects related to the series.
The stage will also feature a promotional video, a cosplayer portraying the title character, Juliet Starling, and a full-size replica of her weapons. Members of the development team are also expected to attend, including the game director, IP production staff and the CEO of JP UNIVERSE.
Recently, the global sales of “Chainsaw Lollipop RePOP” exceeded 400,000 copies, celebrating the 14th anniversary of the series.
