NVIDIA has released GeForce Game Ready graphics driver version 616.56, which brings atypical large-scale optimizations for synthetic benchmarks, professional workloads and computing. Based on independent testing on systems equipped with GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards, the new driver shows significant improvements in the following scenarios:
- In the dedicated 3DMark DXR path tracing test, the frame rate increased from approximately 90 FPS to 98 FPS, achieving a solid 8.1% increase.
- In Blender 5.2.0, rendering speed increased by 6.1% and in the Cinebench R26 test by 6.7%.
- In Geekbench 7, OpenCL performance immediately jumped by 21.7%, and CUDA 13.4 compute stack increased by 5.5%.
- 3DMark Speedway and Steel Nomad (Vulkan) edged up 1.8% and 2.5% respectively.

At the same time, in the real game, there is no large-scale jump in frame rate, because the change mainly affects the bottleneck of pure calculation on the GPU.
