Bodycam developers have opened Locked & Loaded for closed play testing. Only a few registered players will be able to get there, and the main goal of the beta is to test new systems and matchmaking ahead of upcoming updates.

The test will last until 05:00 Moscow time on August 31. This is not a public beta: selected participants will receive invitations over time. You can request access through the Bodycam page on Steam, and if approved, Steam will send notifications and letters to the address associated with your account. You don’t need a separate invitation code.

During testing, the developers decided to remove all content restrictions. Participants will have immediate access to all weapons, modifications, and customization options so they can freely test different loadouts and help the team test new features. In this case, all game testing progress will be completely reset before the update is released.

The good news for content creators is that there are no NDAs. Players are free to live stream what’s going on, record videos, post screenshots and share their impressions. The full Locked & Loaded update will be released for free on September 2, 2026. So even those who didn’t receive an invitation don’t have to wait too long.
