Atlus also raised another question about possible remasters of old games

Atlus conducts a survey every year asking questions about its games and possible JRPG details, and 2026 is no different. poll This year it is already open to residents of Japan and North America, and you have until September 6, 2026 to participate.

The length of the survey varies from year to year. For example, in 2022 it is expected to take around 45 minutes. The estimated length of this year’s Atlus annual survey is 20 minutes.

The survey started with general demographics such as age, gender, location, occupation and monthly disposable income, then moved on to gaming-related questions. It looks at the platforms used and when they are used, favorite genres and how people perceive or share information related to the hobby. Of note is the section on game purchases, where Atlus asked respondents how many physical copies of the game they purchased.

Some of the other, more specific questions in the survey focused on the Atlus games themselves and what people can expect from them. One of the questions involved what themes, concepts, and gameplay people can expect from the company’s games. It also asked respondents about their familiarity with Atlus games such as Catherine, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Raidou Remastered and Persona, as well as other JRPG and RPG games such as FFVII Rebirth, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Pokemon Legends: ZA. This section also mentions vanillaware games such as 13 Sentinels, Dragon’s Crown, Odin’s Sphere Leifthrasir, and Unicorn Overlord.

At the end of this Atlus survey, we asked questions about the famous Persona games and remakes. First is the question about the 75% score for the fourth and sixth parts of the JRPG series. The Persona 4: Resurgence trailer was then played, and respondents were asked if they would buy the game and asked to explain why. The survey then asked users if they knew about Persona 6 and if they had added it to their wishlist. It then asks players if they’re interested in remasters of Persona: Revelations, Persona 2: Innocence and Eternal Punishment, the Persona Dance trilogy, the Persona 4: Arena duology, and the two Persona Q games. This section also asks about remakes of Shin Megami Tensei IV and Apocalypse, SMT Digital Devil Saga, and Demon Summoner: Soul Hacker.
