It’s worth noting that Fulton never mentioned GTA 6 this time around, but it’s the classic elephant in the room. It has released Scorched Earth around November 19th (the release date), compressing other games into the peripheral period.
Fulton spoke explicitly about GTA 6 in June, explaining that delaying Fable avoids a “really crowded period” of release and, most importantly, “obviously avoids GTA.”
“Having a freer window gives us the opportunity to create our own moments, which I think is This game deserves attention”, added the director.
Meanwhile, some Fable fight footage recorded at Gamescom has surfaced online. Fable will be released on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
