Actor Randy Quaid lashed out at Anne Hathaway on social media site
The actor who played racing team owner Timothy Daland in the original 1990 film said the film’s creators wanted Nicole Kidman’s involvement. According to the artist, Hathaway’s choice did not meet the expectations of the series’ traditional audience, and the project itself is being shot in the IMAX format, with Paramount planning a June 2028 release date.
So far, representatives for the film studio and the actress have not officially commented on the harsh remarks. The sequel to Tony Scott’s cult film is set to hit screens nearly forty years after the first part.
