Dell is expanding its laptop lineup to grab consumers’ attention with the affordable MacBook Neo. At IFA 2026, the company showcased the 14S series, with premium bodywork and rich features.
This laptop has an aluminum body and weighs approximately 1.15 kg. Depending on the configuration, you can choose a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080, a frequency of 60 Hz, and a brightness of 300 nits, or a touch screen with a resolution of 2880×1800 at 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 450 nits. Using Intel Core 5 350 and Core 7 350 as the processor, the amount of soldered LPDDR5X memory reaches 16 GB. The 61.2 Wh battery is said to provide up to 21 hours of Netflix streaming.
For connectivity, there are two USB-C with speeds up to 10 Gbps, HDMI and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless networks are represented by Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. At the same time, Dell has not disclosed the specific cost of the 14S, only saying that this model will “complement” the XPS 13 in price. Considering that the DRAM shortage may lead to increased memory costs, the final price may be a key factor when comparing it to the MacBook Neo.
