After showing off the new Fable game at Gamescom 2026, Playground Games has revealed the full system requirements for the game. The developers have prepared four presets – from 1080p at 30 fps to 4K at 60 fps.
For the lowest graphics level, you’ll need a Core i7-6850K or Ryzen 5 2600, RTX 2060 / RTX 5050, Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A580, along with 12 GB RAM and 6 GB video memory. The game will take up 135 GB of SSD space.
For 60 fps at 1200p or 30 fps at 1440p, it is recommended to use Core i5-11600KF or Ryzen 5 5600 and RTX 3060 Ti / RTX 5060, RX 6700 XT / RX 9060 XT class graphics cards. RAM capacity is 16 GB.
At 1440p and 60 fps at high settings, you’ll need a Core i5-12700K or Ryzen 7 7700X, along with an RTX 3080 Ti / RTX 5070, RX 7900 XT / RX 9070 and 16 GB of RAM.
The most stringent requirement is 4K mode at 60 fps: here the developers specified a Core i9-13900K or Ryzen 9 7900X, 16 GB of RAM and an RTX 4080 or RTX 5080 with 16 GB of video memory. All setups require DirectX 12 and 135 GB of available SSD space.

Fable will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series (including Game Pass) on February 23, 2027. In the future, the game will also receive Hero Order story expansions.
