HBO has released another more detailed trailer for the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone series, which will bring millions of fans back to JK Rowling’s wizarding world this Christmas.
The project team includes showrunner Francesca Gardiner (“His Dark Materials”), director Mark Mylod (“Shameless,” “Game of Thrones”) and composer Hans Zimmer. A second season has been greenlit, but the kids are growing up and no one is in a hurry to start filming Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. However, they plan to start filming in the fall, with the cast also being rounded out by Kit Harington as the Golden-earth Lockons.
In addition, on December 25, 2026, connoisseurs may be able to unpack the LEGO set when watching the new film adaptation: the Danes created one of their best lines in the Harry Potter films (the previous day, on September 1, the cube-shaped Ministry of Magic, which was impressive in every way, went on sale), and now they will turn to the show. A trailer for the construction kit was also shown during the “Return to Hogwarts” live broadcast yesterday.
