As promised, publisher and developer Square Enix arranged At September’s State of Play demo, we showed off a new demo of the ambitious Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy VII: Revelations. The show also includes a release date.

Let us remind you that Final Fantasy VII Revelations is the third and final part of the massive remake of the 1997 Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy VII. It is expected to be released next spring.
It is understood that the PC version of “Final Fantasy VII Revelations” will be released on April 8, 2027 (steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch 2 starting at $70. After the show, pre-orders opened, but the game was not available in the Russian part.
Final Fantasy VII: Revelations’ appearance at September’s State of Play presentation went beyond just the announcement of a release date. Square Enix also revealed a new story trailer (see video above) and Game time 10 minutes (the following).
The demo includes new movement options and combat skills, free switching between active characters, Piko’s trusty chocobo that levels up alongside the hero, and a simulated career system.
In the story, as Sephiroth approaches divinity, Claude Strife and his companions attempt to stop Meteor, the ultimate destructive spell. With the Highwind airship, players will be able to explore the entire planet.
