ACEMAGIC launches F9A mini workstation with 192 GB memory

ACEMAGIC demonstrated the F9A mini workstation at IFA, which focuses on local artificial intelligence. The computer will feature an AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ chip, up to 192 GB of RAM, and impressive capabilities for running large models without the cloud.

At launch, the F9A will be equipped with Ryzen AI MAX+ 395, and the series will later be supplemented with a version equipped with the more powerful Ryzen AI MAX+ 495. The older configuration will retain the 16 Zen 5 cores and Radeon 8065S graphics card with 40 RDNA 3.5 units, but will be clocked at up to 5.2 and 3.0 GHz respectively. The LPDDR5X capacity will reach 192 GB at 8533 MT/s, and up to 160 GB can be allocated to the integrated graphics card. The NPU will provide 55 TOPS, and the total platform performance is 131 TOPS.

The computer measures 158.5 × 158.5 × 81.5 mm and offers two USB4, a pair of 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 and OCuLink with PCIe 4.0 x4. The hard drive provides 1 M.2 2280 with a capacity of up to 4TB. According to ACEMAGIC, Ryzen AI MAX+ 395-equipped versions will be able to handle models up to 70B Q4 and MoE up to 200B, while the 495 expands the limit to 120B Q4 and 300B MoE.

The manufacturer has not announced pricing yet. Ryzen AI MAX+ is likely to cost around $2,999 to $3,999 for the 395 version, while the 495 configuration could cost as much as $5,000. The first model will go on sale on September 10, and reservations will begin at the same time.
