Publisher Deep Silver and studio 4A Games have released a new gameplay trailer for METRO 2039. The developer has also confirmed the game’s release date – February 2027 for Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC.
The new trailer reveals details about The Stranger’s past and shows him infiltrating occupied Moscow. In the video you can see stealth and firefights. The trailer also shows off multiple locations, including Sevastopol Station where survivors can be seen going about their daily lives, as well as the surface of the city where radiation levels are high.
Meanwhile, 4A Games talked about a collector’s edition of METRO 2039. The main item of the set will be an exact replica of the Stranger’s battle helmet, complete with signs of damage. According to the developers, for the first time in the series’ history, the Collector’s Edition will allow fans to receive a physical part of the METRO world directly tied to the protagonist. Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition will open later in 2026.
