As part of the latest “Pitch Notes”, Electronic Arts has released a detailed in-depth look at the PC version of EA Sports FC 27. As the developers explain, the PC branch will benefit from a host of technical and graphical upgrades this year. In addition to expanded graphics card settings options, high-resolution texture packs, and improved jersey and grass physics simulations, the manufacturer has also announced official minimum and recommended system requirements so that your PC is equipped with the best configuration in time for kick-off.
Technical revisions focus on taking full advantage of modern PC hardware. EA Sports FC 27 offers expanded ray tracing options for ambient occlusion, global illumination, and dynamic stadium shadows for the first time on PC.
The game also fully exploits the frame rate potential of high refresh rate monitors: in addition to unlimited FPS options, modern upgrade technologies such as Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS are supported from the start. Additionally, optimized load times via DirectStorage ensure lightning-fast transitions from menus directly to fields.
If you want to enjoy virtual thrills on your PC, you should take a look at the hardware requirements. The developers mentioned that the minimum requirements are an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 paired with 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570.
For a smooth gaming experience with high resolution and boot detail, the studio recommends a graphics card like an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. Additionally, an SSD is required.
EA Sports has also made important tweaks beyond the visuals. Anti-cheat infrastructure has been further enhanced to ensure fairer online modes and cross-platform cross-play with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Control via keyboard and mouse, as well as wide and ultrawide monitors, is also fully supported.
