The developers of METRO 2039 have announced the exact release date. The project was previously scheduled to be released in February 2027, but now it is reported that the game will be released on February 4, 2027. The release will be on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC.
While announcing the release date, the developer also showed off METRO 2039 gameplay for the first time on a console, namely the Playstation 5 Pro. Graphics are demonstrated in performance mode. In the trailer description, the author confirmed that the game will run on Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, and Playstation 5 Pro at 60 FPS. There is currently no information on the Xbox Series S version.
METRO 2039 is not currently available for pre-order. There is still no localization information on the digital store page.
Let us remind you that the events of METRO 2039 will unfold in Moscow after the apocalypse. Previously, the developers confirmed that the game will have different ways of progression, and in addition to classic gunplay, stealth will also be possible.
