Blood of the Dawn Treader, the dark role-playing game from Rebel Wolves studio (founded by the folks at CD Projekt RED) and Bandai Namco, is experiencing technical issues on PC. Most people who have tried the new product on various (including high-end) components have noted that the project is extremely unstable and performs poorly.
If the prologue of the game goes relatively smoothly, a persistent micro-freeze will begin in the first village that opens. Furthermore, the stuttering doesn’t happen when assets are loaded during movement, but rather every time the camera rotates, turning the frame-time graph into an uneven saw and the gameplay becomes extremely annoying.

At native 4K resolution in Ultra settings, even when combined with an RTX 5090, you can only produce about 45-50 FPS in Village, and only activating DLSS in Quality mode will allow you to consistently overcome the 60 FPS limit. On the RTX 5080, in turn, you don’t have to worry about any stable 60fps, even with DLSS “balancing”.
