The developers of Teardown have announced the release date for a console update that will add multiplayer features to the game. It will be available on Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 on September 15th.
Multiplayer on consoles will allow players to join groups of up to 12 players, just like on PC. Note that the multiplayer mode launched in March of this year. “Demolition” players can choose between cooperative and competitive modes for multiplayer play. Additionally, on PC it has been in development through updates over the past few months, while on Xbox and Playstation players will immediately receive the final version with all features.
To mark the release of Teardown multiplayer for consoles, the developers have revealed a new trailer.
It’s also worth noting that Mod Pack 6 will be released on September 15th, and the developers have yet to reveal details about its content.
After several years in Early Access, Teardown will be released on PC on April 21, 2022. In 2023, the project will be launched on the Xbox console.
